Before you give
Will you tell their family?
No, we don’t contact anyone. After your gift, the thank-you page shows a card with their name. Print it, or save it as a PDF, to give or send yourself. The card never shows the amount.
Is my gift tax-deductible?
Yes, to the extent allowed by law. Catt County Cat Nippers Inc. is an IRS 501(c)(3) nonprofit (EIN 82-3207731). You’ll get an emailed receipt for your records, with their name on it.
Where does the money go?
90% pays for spay/neuter surgery and vet care: either our own clinic bills in Cattaraugus County (surgery, rabies vaccine and the ear-tip that marks a cat as fixed, at licensed clinics in Olean and Salamanca), or board-approved grants to partner rescues and TNR groups across the US. 10% covers humane traps, transport and running costs.
Can the gift remember a person, not a pet?
Yes. Enter any name: a cat, another pet, or someone who loved animals. You can also switch to “In honor of” at checkout.
Is it secure?
Payment happens on Stripe’s secure page. We never see or store your card number. Apple Pay and Google Pay work too.
